On the Road to Queendom: Loc'd Beauty of the Week
I was so excited about this, that I just had to post it!!!! This was the nicest recognition that I have ever gotten in my life!!!! :}
I enjoyed my journey with locs, but now i feel that it's time for me to take on another challenge. I've never enjoyed my hair in its natural state & I'm at a point in my life where I'm ready to branch out & try new things. So ride with me...while I'm embracing the natural "ME"

Month 2 of Locdom!!!!
Well...in a few days or so...(actually the 24th) it will be two months that I have been locd! I am si excited about thia month because I can definitely see the growth and change that my hair is going through!!!!
Heres a few pix....
and heres a few pics of my "self-retwist"..I think I did a pretty good job! lol
...so yea I think it's coming along well!
The products I use are the Jamaican Mango and Lime products...(I WILL DO A REVIEW FOR THESE PRODUCTS, BUT BEING THAT ITS GETTIN LATE AND I WANT TO HAVE A DRINK ON THIS NICE STAURDAY EVENING..NEXT TIME!) LOL
I am still excited and I am so impatient..I want them to loc NOW! But I guess this will definitely help me to become patient! But I am loving the process & change so far! I do have an appointment next Saturday at a new salon..so cross ya fingers! :} Until next time...Peace!!!!

I did it!
well..the deed is done! My babies were installed on 0ct 24th, 2009!!! I was so excitd coming out of Sophia Sunflower Salon located in Raleigh NC...My loctician Krika really hooked me up! I started with comb twists...my next visit will be latch-hooking my babies! LOL Everyday I look in the mirror to see whats happeining!! :}
This has been a long time coming for me!! I never had the courage to get them until my husband told me that he would support me in whatever I decided!!! I am so happy and I feel so free!!! I believe that this is going to be a great journey!!!

The Birth!!!
Peace Everyone!
I have decided to start keeping track of my loc journey. This is such a huge time in my life right now!.....so many changes, so many new things.....I figured it was time for a change...my fro that is! :}
I went all natural July 29th, 2009. It's now October 21st and after the Big Chop, I have 3 inches of hair now!!!!! Yayyyyy!!!! So after some careful considerations, research and watching zillions of YT videos.....I've made the choice to loc my hair!!!!
I did try other ways but to NO avail...braidlocs and two strand twists did nothing for me!!!! All b/c I think I was trying to do it myself..................uuugggghhh........................no progress AT ALL!!!
So with that in mind, I've made a{n} appointment w a natural hair stylist.....so we will see what the end results will be!!! :D
